Before joining the Bar, Courtney completed her Articles of Clerkship at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr and was retained in the Dispute Resolution department. In 2022, she clerked for Justice Majiedt at the Constitutional Court. Courtney holds an LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand and an Mphil in Law from Oxford University.
Courtney’s areas of practice include environmental law, administrative and constitutional law as well as general commercial litigation.
