Tsakane was first an attorney at ENS Africa before joining the Johannesburg Bar. He was called to the Bar in 2014.
He has extensive experience in the area of competition law - first in his time at ENS and throughout his time at the Bar. He has been involved in all aspects of competition law related litigation and advice giving, including statutory merger notifications; complaint proceedings; cartel conduct and regulation of prohibited practices; abuses of dominance; exemption applications; and the corporate leniency regime.
Tsakane also conducts a general commercial litigation practice, primarily in the High Courts of South Africa and in arbitration proceedings.
