Adrian Friedman was admitted to the Johannesburg Society of Advocates in December 2007. Before joining the bar, he lectured at Wits University and clerked for Justice Mokgoro and Chief Justice Chaskalson at the Constitutional Court. His preferred areas of practice include regulatory (especially energy, gambling, mining and the environment), administrative (especially tenders), trade and commercial law. Adrian has appeared in the High Court, the Supreme Court of Appeal, the Constitutional Court, and the National Consumer Tribunal as well as before various regulators (such as Gambling Boards and ICASA). He holds LLB (Wits) and LLM (NYU) degrees
